Fiora 2006 Rose Wine Spain

Wood nymphs and water sprites, but not mountain denizens, will succumb to the charms of this nectar. It goes down easy, given its lack of complexity, but if you are a jaded old satyr you can use that to your advantage.

Open this for your running mates and expect to be stoned.

Goes with:
Dark meat roasted chicken, but not with dry white meat. Raw milk sharp cheddar with roasted salted cashews, but it does need a salted nut to balance the combination of the sharp cheese with the wine.

Bacchus speak:
Displays some legs but mostly sheets down the glass. A touch of an acrid nose, but with a definite fruity smell, with a hint of sweet at the end of the sniff. A dull somewhat ugly rose colour. The smells carry over to the palate, with a nice fruit dominance, thats reasonably sweet with a touch of astringency on the finish.
