Petit Bistro 2005 Pinot Noir France

As ten dollar wines go, this one isn’t bad. It’s a bit short to nonexistent on the aroma department but pretty dependable otherwise. A wine that’s OK for sipping and maybe a light dinner too.
It’s a clear, bright medium to deep ruby-violet colored wine. There’s little aroma for this wine, but there are some berry notes that your taste might discern. There’s some refreshing acidity here, as well as some sweetness and enough tannins to give your mouth a good pucker, but not overpoweringly so. Overall, this gives the wine a good balance and medium finish.
