Not as complex as its cousin, the Syrah-Cabernet Sauvignon blend and not as good either. You might want to try that one first. This wine is better suited for dinner perhaps than drinking on its own.

It’s a clear, bright deep ruby to violet color wine. There are some definite blackberry and raspberry notes. There’s plenty of astringency here, but not overpoweringly so as well as enough acidity to counterbalance the sweetness. This gives the wine an acceptable balance and a medium finish. This wine is better suited for dinner than perhaps drinking on its own.
